TWISTS
AND ARM BALANCES -
May 15, 2010 |
Workshop included:
Visvamitrasana, Marichyasana, Peacock, Koindinyasana, Crow,
Bhujapidasana, Firefly, Forearm Balance, Handstand, Ashtavakrasana,
Compass, Noose, Lolasana, Bound
Side Pigeon, and Lord of the Fish. Positioning and tips
on building a home practice. Secrets of breaking down
diffictult arm balances and learning the intuitive ways to safely
move into twisting poses, preparation poses and anatomy.
Certificate of completion awarded at the end of the workshop
for 4 hours Yoga Teacher Training credits.
Handout for all poses presented which included: alignment cues,
actions and anatomy.

THE FEAR OUT OF YOUR INVERSIONS & BACKKBENDS -
Held March 6, 2010 |
Workshop
included: Shoulderstand, Headstand, Crow, Forearm Balance,
Scorpion, Locust, Cobra, Camel 2 & 3, Bow, Bridge, Tiger,
Tabletop, King Dancer, and
Handstands, (hands on adjustments for your poses) Deepen your practice
while learning positioning and tips on building a home practice.
Find freedom from the fear of practicing inversions and backbending
while learning the teaching techniques, preparation poses and anatomy. |
STANDING
POSES WORKSHOP -
Held August 1, 2009 |
Workshop
included: Warrior I, II, Prasarita, Warrior Lunge, Pyramid,
Triangle, Revolved Triangle, Marichy Asana, and others. Deepen
your practice while learning positioning and tips on building
a home practice. Fine tune your standing poses while learning
the teaching techniques, preparation poses and anatomy. A certificate
of completion will be given at the end of the workshop for 6
hours Yoga Teacher Training credits. You will receive a handout
for all poses presented which includes: alignment cues, actions
and anatomy.

SEQUENCING WORKSHOP
- Held April 4, 2009 |
Workshop included: the principles
of proper warm-up, preparation poses, recovery and/or counter poses,
Sun Salutations and Vinyasa Flow Format.
4 sample class formats included: from beginner level to advanced, the foundations
of sequencing, cueing and the basics of teaching theme classes.
